Thousands flee Darfur fighting into Chad, UN migration agency reports

The International Organization for Migration reports that displaced people from Sudan's Darfur region are crossing into Chad to escape fighting. The agency also said more than two thousand people fled from El Fasher towards Tawila in recent days as security conditions deteriorate. The movement highlights the continuing humanitarian crisis in Sudan, where conflict has repeatedly forced civilians across borders in search of safety.
