Master Gardener takes over abandoned herb demonstration garden

Original: Today in Master Gardener: this herb demonstration garden in front of the extension office has been essentially abandoned

A demonstration herb garden in front of a county extension office has been left essentially unattended for years. Officials put out a call for a new head gardener to revive it, and a new volunteer has stepped in to take over the plot. Gardeners online are sharing the handover and welcoming the newcomer to the role.

Why now: People are discussing gardening season and volunteering efforts to restore neglected public green spaces.
