A developer has released Drift, a Chrome extension that lets users highlight a passage on any web page, click the icon, and get a Mastodon draft pre-filled with the quote, title and link. It opens the user's own server's composer for final review before posting. Version 1.0.0 has been submitted to the Chrome Web Store, while a build is already available on GitHub.
