Original: De # Covid19 # Pandemic "aanpak" heeft bij mij het laatste restje vertrouwen in de # Overheid doen verdampen. Het # RIVM
A Dutch social media user says the government's handling of the Covid pandemic has destroyed his remaining trust in the state, pointing to the RIVM's decision to raise the Covid vaccination eligibility age from 60-plus to 70-plus. The post reflects frustration with policymakers in The Hague, though it also notes the situation may be different than first assumed. The complaint touches on ongoing debate in the Netherlands about vaccination policy and institutional credibility after the pandemic.
Why now: The RIVM's decision to raise the Covid vaccination age limit has reignited frustration with Dutch pandemic policy and government trust.
