Uruguay researchers get paper accepted on glass characterisation

Researchers in Uruguay announced that a paper on the characterisation of glasses using molecular dynamics has been accepted for publication. The calculations were run on the computing cluster at CURE, part of the University of the Republic, and it will be the first published work to come out of that facility. The team expressed strong pride in the achievement.

Why now: It marks the first published research produced using the CURE cluster, a milestone for the local scientific community.
