Tara Shears

The University of Liverpool is hosting an evening event with Professor Tara Shears OBE exploring the mysteries of antimatter. The particle physicist, known for her work on the LHCb experiment at CERN, will discuss what antimatter is, why it remains one of physics' biggest puzzles, and why the universe appears to be made almost entirely of matter despite theory suggesting equal amounts of both should have formed after the Big Bang.
