Izium

Russian forces struck a residential building in Kharkiv with a guided glide bomb, injuring 22 people, including eight children. A 12-year-old and an 8-year-old boy were hospitalised. Elsewhere in Ukraine, four people were hurt in a night attack on Kyiv, and two were wounded in a rocket strike on Izium.

Russian forces shelled the central market in Izium, Kharkiv region, using a multiple rocket launcher system. The attack sparked a fire that destroyed around 20 trade pavilions at the market. The strike on a civilian shopping area has drawn renewed attention to ongoing Russian attacks on populated areas of the Kharkiv region.
