More than 800 public objections have pushed the Greater Bengaluru Authority to reopen its draft parking rules for a fresh review. The objections, filed during the public consultation period, prompted officials to re-examine provisions on parking fees, allocations and restrictions across the city. Residents and civic groups had criticised aspects of the draft, and the authority will now revise the rules before moving forward.
