Warren High School has earned Special Olympics National Banner Recognition, an honor given to schools that demonstrate outstanding commitment to inclusion through the Special Olympics Unified Schools program. The designation places Warren among a select group of schools nationally recognized for fostering inclusive sports and school environments for students with and without intellectual disabilities. The school community is celebrating the achievement.

D.C. United welcomed Special Olympics DC's Unified Team to play under the lights at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. The event gave athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to experience the Major League Soccer stadium firsthand, joining together with partners on the pitch as part of the club's ongoing community and inclusion work with Special Olympics.
