The Spanish coastguard has picked up 60 migrants a few kilometres off the Moroccan coast near Tarfaya and brought them to the Canary Islands. The rescue adds to the ongoing flow of crossings along the Atlantic route to the Canary Islands, which remains one of the main migration paths into Spain.
