Bose has released a firmware update for the $449 QuietComfort Ultra Headphones Gen 2, adding Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast support as beta features. It makes the flagship headphones the first Bose product to offer Auracast, the Bluetooth audio-sharing technology, and the company says it plans to roll out support to more of its devices in future updates.
