Paris Agreement

A new study by Swiss and German researchers projects that global temperatures could rise by 3.25C above pre-industrial levels by 2100 if countries continue with their current climate policies. The finding is well above the Paris Agreement targets of keeping warming well below 2C, and ideally 1.5C, highlighting the gap between existing government commitments and what is needed to limit dangerous climate change.
