Ethiopian rebel groups

Sudan has denied accusations from Ethiopia that it supports rebel groups operating against the Ethiopian government. Khartoum rejected the claims amid already strained relations between the two neighbours, who have faced border tensions and disputes linked to the conflict in Sudan and Ethiopia's own internal wars. The denial leaves the diplomatic rift between the two countries unresolved.
