Durban Declaration

The United Nations is convening a high-level meeting to mark the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action, the landmark framework adopted at the 2001 World Conference against Racism in South Africa. The gathering brings member states and officials together to review progress on combating racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, a quarter-century after the commitments were made.
