CNPEM

Brazil's CNPEM research centre and CERN are collaborating on magnet technology for a planned 91-kilometre circular collider. The partnership would connect Brazilian physicists to the technology development behind next-generation particle accelerators, including the high-field superconducting magnets a machine of that scale would require. Further details of the agreement, including funding and scope, have not been widely reported.
