Algeria

China, home to the world's second most powerful military, has reportedly transferred an air-defence system derived from Russian technology and designed to counter cruise missiles to Algeria, one of North Africa's strongest military powers. The move highlights Beijing's growing arms export role and deepening defence ties with Algiers, a major buyer of Russian and Chinese weaponry.
