Easy to use OpenStreetMap editor for Android
StreetComplete is an easy-to-use OpenStreetMap editor for Android that gamifies map data collection. It marks nearby spots needing a survey as quests on a map—like 'What is the name of this road?'—and your on-site answers are uploaded directly to OSM. No OSM tagging knowledge is needed, it works offline, and edits are made under your OSM account.
Why now: An iOS version of StreetComplete has just entered public beta, discussed on Hacker News—a notable expansion beyond Android.
Who it is for: Everyday people who want to contribute to OpenStreetMap while walking around, without learning tagging schemes.
